As the couple grew stronger through the weeks, so did Brenna as a new businesswoman and scuba diver. She was slowly making improvements to her resort and with each upgrade she accomplished, she felt closer than ever to the possibility of turning this resort into one of the most successful in town. Branden was behind her 100% and loved her drive to turn the run-down mediocre resort into a booming success. The only thing Branden was nervous about for Brenna was when she saw a shark when she was scuba diving, but he knew she loved to scuba dive, and she was a very brave person. She never let on if it bothered her or not but no matter what she was going to keep scuba diving. On top of that, Brenna was always as careful as she could be when underwater, always staying alert. After a while, Branden got curious about what scuba diving was like so he took up snorkeling to see if he might want to go further and then it could be something Brenna and Branden did together. Of course, it would take a lot longer for him to master scuba diving as he was a lot farther behind and he did have a full-time job in the business career that he also loved. Sometimes with his experience in business as well, the two also came up with ideas for Brenna’s resort. Now even though they were busy, they took time out to spend together and one of the favorite things they did was enjoy the beautiful views the houseboat got.
These two were indeed very busy, but soon they would be busier than ever. One night they weren’t as careful as they had planned to be and their fun time in bed ended up with the possibility that Brenna was pregnant because over the next few weeks, she was nauseous and then she was late for her monthly visitor. It was time to talk to Branden about it.
“Branden, I have to talk to you. I’m not sure, but I think I might be pregnant. I’m late.”
“Oh, wow, um, give me a minute.” Branden was a little shocked but then he remembered that careless night they had. However, he didn’t feel panic or anything like that. In fact, he felt a warming sensation in his body and a huge smile spread across his face.
“Branden? What are you thinking?”
“Brenna, that’s great! I am here for you whatever you need.”
“So, you’re not upset? I know it might not be the right time, but I am happy about it and it’s great if you are too!”
“No, I’m not upset honey! I can’t wait to be a Dad!”
And so that night, they decided to be sure and bought a pregnancy test and the test turned out positive!
Branden than took Brenna in for a long embrace and they really celebrated that night and now they didn’t have to be careful…

Fresh from business school Brenna Thompson has moved to the idyllic island town of Isla Paradiso ready to start on her new life. For Brenna this town was great because of the water and the attraction of the possibility of growing a successful water side resort that she owned and being the entrepreneur she wanted to be. She was able to buy a small houseboat with the money she made in business school from tutoring and work-study. The first day she hung out on the roof in the patio chair looking at the amazing view.
After a bit of lounging and taking in the view it was time to start snorkeling to find things to sell to start earning money for her dream. It took a few days for her to gain enough confidence in her skills to start scuba diving at the easier scuba dive spots in Isla Paradiso. Once she started though she gained more skill pretty fast and realized she could easily find things under the sea to sell to support her and her dream for owning a resort. Besides that she loved the ocean and the wonders it held.
Brenna continued on with the scuba diving over the next few weeks at a very aggressive pace and collected quite a few sea treasures that really added up in value. Every week she would turn in that week’s worth of her underwater bounty and after about a month of collecting work under the sea she went to the island’s consignment shop to sell this latest week’s haul and a few huge sales had come in for her items in the meantime and between that and what she just had turned in she could finally afford a down payment on a hotel resort and begin building the dream. She looked around town at a few spots but finally came across a beautiful location that would be great for her dream resort empire. Issue was the place was all run-down around the landscape and buildings. It wasn’t too bad inside but she was worried about what the total cost of repairing and remodeling before even improving the basics would add up too. Turns out, the previous owner was so desperate to leave the island and go somewhere else for retirement that they offered Brenna the place for free.
“Free? Are you sure?” Brenna couldn’t believe it but the owner smiled and nodded, and then gave her the key. And so the dauting task of creating an empire began.
In between all this work, Brenna was able to get out and meet the locals and the tourists. She loved to talk to everyone in town, and now that she owned a resort, she met even more people all the time. One person in particular stood out to Brenna. One Mr. Branden Cleary, who was a tourist to the island, and would only be in town for a few weeks so she was anxious to spend as much time as he would let her with him during his stay. The two of them hang out around town and her wonderful boat house. Branden liked it even though it was small because his favorite hobby was scuba diving like Brenna, which made them bond quickly. One afternoon while they were having lunch at a local restaurant they started a more serious discussion as Branden was due to leave in a few days.
“It’s been great hanging out getting to know you, Branden. I hope I’ve been a good guide around the island, even though I’m fairly new here myself.” Brenna gave him a small smile and giggle. She wasn’t sure what to say next for the first time being around Branden. She was getting anxious, nervously fidgeting around, keeping her sweaty palms of her hands together. Pull it together Brenna, she chided herself and then noticed Branden was forming a concerned look on his face.
“Are you okay, Brenna?” He paused, and his face was soft with a warm touch of caring etched in. She settled down to almost normal as if the face melted her stress away.
“Yeah, of course. Well, to tell you the truth, I am a little nervous, and there is something that I want to ask you, but fear it may be too soon. But you are leaving in a few days so today might be my last chance.”
“Is it anything like we are hitting it off so well, and I feel more comfortable around you than anyone else I have ever known? Or something like that,” Branden chuckled and smiled playfully.
Brenna felt like she was exploding with happiness, smiling brightly. “Actually, yeah, I was hoping you felt that way and maybe stay longer or maybe, I don’t know, move here while we keep getting to know each other?” Okay, that might have been too far but too late now.
Branden took a moment but smiled again and said, “I have looked into work here at the local business center and when I talked to the higher ups, they offered me a job at the same level I was at. And if my background check passes, which it should, I start work next Monday. I was going to tell you but I wanted to wait and make sure it went through. They said they would let me know by tomorrow. I love it here, and I’m very interested in pursuing what we have going here. Sounds like you might approve of this plan?”
“Yes, sounds really great.”
And by the end of the week, Branden was settled in his new job and moved in with Brenna!

Emma Buckley has loved horses her whole life and eventually wants to have a successful ranch with a top-notch horse who can compete internationally in equestrian competitions once they reach the top of their career together. Jockey and horse jumping and running as one across the finish line as many times as possible was the dream. She also hoped to pass it on to an heir one day to take over and continue her legacy.
When she arrived in the best town for growing her home into a successful ranch and place to train her horse and future foals that she would train to the best she could to sell to other enthusiastic horse lovers, she got right to work training Belle, her beautiful horse, for the future excellence that awaited them.
As Emma was settling into her new town and working hard with her training with her horse Belle, she ended up meeting a like-minded man at the park near the equestrian center. His name was Benjamin Schmidt, a local townie who has lived in Appaloosa Plains for a long time. After the first encounter they got together regularly to hang out and it turned into a budding romance which in turn quickly turned into love. On top of training she wanted many foals out of Belle and the first mate that became available was Marney Martingale. Belle quickly became pregnant with her first foal and Emma couldn’t wait for the foal to be born. The new foal arrived, and Emma named him Benny, and he was gorgeous just like his mom Belle. Emma was thrilled to welcome the new addition but a little sad knowing to help support the growth of her horse ranch she would have to sell him when he was older and trained enough.
Emma kept going like that for a while on her own, training Belle and getting Benny and the new foals born along the way trained as best she could before selling them. In the middle of all that a few momentous events happened along this journey…
While doing everything around her ranch and working hard at buiilding a great horse ranch she was still hanging out with Benjamin Schmidt that lived in town who she meet soon after arriving in town. They had been hanging out and a strong friendship had grown. Lately though Emma thought it might be something else but knew Benjamin’s reputation or at least the rumors she heard that can circulate easy in a small town. When she brought these rumors up, Ben seemed to shy away or completely change the subject and that worried her. She was confused because she felt that they had a deep connection, but she was so afraid she was wrong and Ben wasn’t helping any with his avoidance tactics.
One afternoon while Ben and Emma were having a nice quiet lunch, Emma noticed Ben was even more distracted than usual. She had to ask what was going on because she knew there was something.
“Ben, is there something you’re not telling me? I feel like our relationship is strong and honestly I really like you, but I feel you might be holding back on me.”
“Emma, you’re right. I have. Since I was a teenager I have always been known as a player to be honest. I never thought too much about it until I met you. I thought I had toned it down, but if people are still talking then maybe I haven’t slowed down like I thought. I am still dating other women. I could say it was because I had no idea you liked me, but I also felt that connection so I had a feeling there might be something too. I think it has just hit me that I want something more moving forward and I think you’re the one I want to start a clean slate with. If you are still interested that is. I totally get if you are not and I would be happy to stay friends but would rather start dating you…” Ben paused, a little flustered after admitting all that, and looked into Emma’s eyes and waited patiently.
“I see. I knew something was going on. Do you have a girlfriend right now?”
Reluctantly, Ben shook his head yes but quickly added, “I want to break up with her and date you exclusively if you are willing to give it a try.”
Emma didn’t know if it was a good idea but their connection was strong. “Okay, let’s try it. But if you keep dating other women and I hear about it, which I will, because this is a small town, then we are done.
“Fair enough.” Ben and Emma then continued their lunch and started dating exclusively. The rumors around his various relationships faded away and started turning into surprise when all the neighbors saw out and about was Ben with Emma. However, a few months later there was a little snag. Ben was being faithful still but before he had broke up with one of his girlfriends she became pregnant. This was hard for Emma to take but the timing proved it was before they started dating exclusively so with a little time the hurt faded away and Ben showed her every day he was sorry.
Emma and Ben decided to take the next step and Ben moved in with Emma, and instantly loved being part of a ranch. The only sad thing was his pregnant girlfriend was insist that he would not see the baby and she didn’t want him to have anything to do with it. Ben was hurt and Emma was hurt for him but he tried to focus on their life together as it was going great.

~The Wickham-Austin Family AND Jake Sterling AND Luke Peterson~

*Extra Note: This family and the two other characters described in this section is actually based on characters from a web series called The Music Freaks.
The Wickham-Austin family consists of wife and mother Shannon Wickham and her husband Michael Austin, with their three children Hailey Austin, Zander Wickham and Bethany Wickham. The siblings are pretty close, especially Zander and Hailey. Her brother is very protective over her. There were a total of two things in this world he was protective of most and that was his sister and his piano for which he had a passion for playing. Hailey has a passion for music so much that she started a music club in her high school. The only problem is she has stage fright so that could stand in her way even though she is great at anything music related.
Then there is Jake Sterling. A boy in Hailey’s class who has big dreams of making it big in the music industry and is especially interested in singing. He is painfully shy though and keeps to himself which made him more of a target in middle school but might be coming into his own now. He has a dog named Oreo as well.
Last but not least is Luke Peterson. Shy as a child, Luke still has residual bouts of shyness but is a lot more sociable now. He is bi and in Zander’s class with who he has a major crush on. And as passionate as Zander is of his piano, Luke loves his drums the same way.
Now:
Michael Austin is aspiring to be a hit movie composer so like his children he is into music and may have influenced them in their interest of music as well. Shannon believes in the family unit and being close and wouldn’t mind having another couple kids if that happens naturally. The older two teenage kids Zander and Hailey started to hang out with their crushes and finally after a few hangouts made their move one afternoon as each was hanging out with the other after school (Hailey with Jake, and Zander with Luke). The children and thier crushes are all still into their musical hobbies and thought maybe someday the four of them should form a band. Bethany, who shares her family’s passion for music but is younger, can join when she’s a little older which made Bethany a little annoyed but everything with this family was going well overall.
~The Waltons Family and Honey Megortn~

Dwight Walton and Honey Megortn were married. However, Honey was unaware of what Dwight’s evil intentions were, all the while being pure of heart herself. They had a child together Bertrum who Dwight is trying to make evil even still but so far no luck and he seems to still take after his mother even though he lives with his father and his father’s like-minded sister Talia.
Now:
The Waltons are three of a kind. Well, sort of. Dwight is an aspiring master criminal along with his sister Talia. However, Dwight’s son Bertrum he had with ex-wife Honey Megortn, who also has a career in the “criminal industry” but is looking to get out, and where her and Dwight are still co-workers, strives to be good instead. Sometimes Dwight would even help his sister practice her evilness in practice sessions. As the years went by and Bertrum caught on somewhat to what his Dad and Aunt were up to he made sure to promise to protect his mother from them. Honey was touched but she made sure to point out to him it was her who would protect him and they both hugged and promised to be there for each other in the chaos. In the meantime Honey is still trying to get into new line of work and completely get away from Dwight and now his sister and be able to protect her son.

The Phelps family consists of husband and wife Derrel and Susan Phelps with their son Adam. Derrel is a hard working father while Susan is a stay-at-home mom to Adam who is about to go to enter high school and his teen years. Susan wants to focus on herself at this point more and really is into the arts, especially painting and street art. Derrel thinks its the perfect opportunity to advance in his work where he is a resident in the medical field working on becoming a world renowned surgeon which is his true dream.

Olly and Erica Riton are just starting to grow as a family with their young son Paul. Olly has figured out what he wants to do in life. He found he enjoyed the art of alchemy so much that he wanted to get skilled enough in it to make it a career option and grow to be one of the best Alchemy Artisans in the world. Alchemy is similar to cooking where you put ingredients together to produce something that you can consume which Olly liked because he loved cooking too, but with alchemy the potential for magical properties that can be more powerful and helpful. It could be used in a bad way but Olly wasn’t inclined to be a bad person, but he was a little naïve about things so hopefully he won’t get mixed up into something that isn’t good on accident on his journey on mixing and discovering elixirs. Erica has a passion for learning at least four musical instruments in her spare time and bought herself a guitar, a bass, some drums, and a piano to learn on. For her career she is starting out as a teacher but will she stay in that or go full-time in music? Paul is a very active little boy when he wants to be but can also be a couch potato and watches a little too much tv and plays a lot of video games like his dad Olly so as he continues to grow and approach his teen years they are doing their best but their progress in their own things are slow going.
(In my stream we saw him first as a child but taking pictures I had to go back to first save for some families and toddlers are so cute so I figured I would take a quick picture with Erica holding little Paul as a toddler).

Rebeca Colly recently moved to Sunset Valley and is excited to start her career in journalism and eventually become a star news anchor as she moves up the ladder. Not much else happened with her other than she began online dating by creating a profile but we did play a little while with her on stream and will check back in on her at later time.

Background:
This is a small family with wife and husband Erica and Issac Jolina and their daughter Jamie. Erica’s family’s line is full of musicians. Due to that, Erica has hopes of becoming one of the best composers for shows and movies that there is in the world while hoping her daughter takes an interest in the music industry. Erica would love Jamie to grow up and be a very successful singer. Meantime, Issac is also very busy as he grows in the medical career where he is only an intern at the moment but he has high hopes to become one of the best surgeons in the world. This family may be small but they are ambitious and want to instill that in their daughter so she will strive for greatness too. The only trouble is will Erica be upset even if Jamie grows up to be successful if she isn’t a singer? And if so how will she deal with that?

Honestly only played a few minutes with this family so not much to report but hoping to go back in later streams so included here anyway but don’t have any further updates at this time except what direction the family wants to head in explained above.

~Quick Intro~
We all know the original Sunset Valley farily well or have at least heard tales of the more famous og sims that live there. Well let’s explore a different sunset valley that has replaced most og families and sims with new families, and some new houses, and grow that community of Sims to mix it up one family or household at a time.
~The Demons Household/Family~
Background:
The Demons household located at the old Landgraab house is an unique bunch of sim characters. The household consists of Blitz Demon and his adopted daughter Loona Demon who harbors a secret that she may or may not be able to keep.There is also their two roommates and friends who just happen to have the same last name, Moxxie Demon and his wife Millie Demon.
Now:
Blitz wants to find a permanant partner and have at least four more kids before he reaches the end of his life. Loona just wants to get through her teenage years. Blitz signed up for online dating and made an online dating profile. He has only started his search for love and as much as he wants to start having more kids, he’s going to take it slow. He is a potentially fine bachelor for the single women out there being a good and family-oriented aspiring doctor. His trouble is the rebellious childish side he also has. Loona has had a few mood swings as teenagers do but add the fact she turns into a werewolf in a full moon her life might be more complicated than most teens. She also naturally has a grumpy disposition. Due to her werewolf condition she also tends to be a loner and on top of that she caught her Dad’s rebellious side so she is often causing trouble without trying too hard.
Moxxie has his eyes set on two things: being a good husband and his dream of being a one man band and learning the guitar, bass, piano, and the drums. Millie strives to be a well-liked woman about town and fit into society with a goal of making twenty friends. She also has embarked on a new career in journalism that she hopes she’ll like and that will help her get noticed around town, hopefully in a good way. The couple wants to be a powerful duo but haven’t expressed any desire yet to have a baby and are still trying to decide if they want kids or not.
~The Sentons Family~
Background:
Originally from a old western town, the Sentons have moved to Sunset Valley and it’s more suburban than they are used too. Can they fit in with the suburban life? We’ll have to wait and see how married couple Cole and Daniella and their two children cope.
Now:
We start the Sentons story with the couple Cole and Daniella with their two children, teenage daughter Elijah and son Hunter. Cole and Daniella have two children, a young toddler son named Hunter and a teenage daughter named Elijah. The kids tried their best to fit in and as any transition goes there were a few bumps but once they all were settled in school and their mother and father in their work, things calmed down. Hunter did have a harder time as he got older and was in school though because he was generally a loner and could be a bit hot-headed so he didn’t make many friends. Elijah didn’t have many friends either but did well in school and was focused on that. Once they felt more stable and relaxed into their new life in suburbia they decided to expand their family and got pregnant. After a little wait they were blessed with a baby girl named Georgia. And life went on from there in a normal fashion.
~The Phelps Family~
The Phelps household consists of married couple Derrel and Susan and their son Adam. Derrel just wants to be a hard working loving family guy but can be a little bit of a perfectionist which isn’t always good but isn’t always bad either. It will help him in his dream of someday becoming a world renowned surgeon. He certainly is smart and reads enough to pull it off and Susan appreciates him. Adam had his birthday and is a teenager trying to manage to graduate high school. The transition from boy to a young man is starting, but he thinks he already knows what he wants to do after graduating high school. Susan hopes her only son will be okay but she herself likes to take risks and one risk she has embarked on is not having a traditional 9 to 5 job and going after her dream of becoming a master painter and guitarist in the arts arena.
~Lumpkin-Steel Family~
Janine Lumpkin-Steel is a single mom who is an heiress wanting to master the guitar and being charasmatic to attract people to her. Her and her son Adam can do anything they want in life. Will they find their passion in life and pursue them?
~The Brooks/Everet/Lowg Household~
In what was formally the Goth house, now lives Pauline Brooks and her daughter Millicent Brooks, rommate Ronald Everet and his son Shawn Everet, and single roommate Elliot Lowg. Pauline is on the brave and evil side and wants to adventure further into the “criminal industry” whereas her daughter Millicent is more of a hot-head and gets angry easily but is friendly not evil, although instinctively she might get what her Mom is getting into which she broods on from her brooding nature sometimes. She just wants to be a professional sports star. Ronald feels like his dream is to eventually be a master scientist whereas his son Shawn’s dream is to becoime a famous news anchor for his local tv station. Also it makes Pauline a little nervous to be living with an aspiring journalist with secrets she will and already has to keep and her daughter might like Shawn too…Meanwhile everyone is just working on their skills and Elliot decides to start with fitness as in sports career and wants to gain points in the jock social group first but eventually fit in to all social groups.
~Decker Household~
Background:
Nicolas and his wife Vanessa Decker have three spirited girls ranging from their youngest child Olivia Decker to their two tennege girls Kelly and oldest sister Maggie. They moved away from the more country scene in Appaloosa Plains to more surburbian Sunset Valley to gain more opportunities that were lacking there. The only thing they miss is the animal loving culture of Appaloosa Plains and they want many animals from dogs and cats to horses. Now that the girls are older and are able to help, can they grow their fur family?
Now:
Nicolas Decker is a friendly, open to a party, handy around the house, type guy, and is proud of his family. The only dream he hasn’t been able to pursue yet is becoming a five-star chef in a successful restaruant. He was more focused on providing for his family and couldn’t concentrate on his dream career but now that they were more financially stable and his girls were older, he thought it was a great time to take that leap. Vanessa wants her and her whole family to strive for a healthy body and mind but she is really into making that her life’s work by honing her fitness and logic skill. The goal for the whole family is to grow a fur family to extend the great family they have. However, time and room at their house and backyard could be a problem. Hopefully Nicolas, Vanessa, and the kids can get all they wish for in their new start in Sunset Valley.
