After the holidays were done life went back to normal pace of work and hanging out for Kaylin. Her work kept her busy so she did not have as much time as she would have liked to do streaming so that was slowing down for the time being. What wasn’t slowing down was her relationship with Akira. They loved to hang out and would go out on the town as much as they could, mostly on weekends due to Kaylin’s work. On a chilly Saturday night Akira and Kaylin went to the rooftop of their favorite nightclub hangout and was just shooting the breeze. It seemed these two could talk about anything for hours. Kaylin felt very lucky to have found a place she felt was the only place where she felt connected to anything or anybody her whole life.
“Akira, thank you and Miko for being such great friends from the beginning and I am glad we have taken a chance with us.” She smiled and Akira actually blushed and looked at back at her lovingly.
“Miko and I feel the same way about having you as a friend, and the growing feeling between us, I think is safe to say, mutual.”
Kaylin’s whole body felt like it was floating in a dream that she hoped would never end and the whole nightsky, buildings, and everything else melted away. It was only her and Akira against everything where they would face life’s challenges together.
A few weeks later and things were going strong with Kaylin and Akira’s relationship and now that it seemed that Miko was okay with everything, Akira thought it was a good time to gather Kaylin and Miko and have a chat. So a few weekends after their date where they admitted they was something between the two, Kaylin was spending the night with Akira at his apartment. Akira asked Kaylin if they could talk with Miko about something and Kaylin agreed but was hoping it wasn’t anything wrong. As they sat around the kitchen table in their pjs Akira started the conversation off.
“I feel like it might be time to talk about Kaylin moving in with us Miko. If that is what Kaylin wants too of course and everyone agrees. I think Darling would be fine with it as she seems to get along with Kaylin pretty well. So what do you two think?” Akira looked at his best friend and his best girl and hoped they would agree with him.
“Well Akira, I wouldn’t mind but I want to make sure this would be okay with you as well Miko. I feel like we have grown closer as friends and things seem fine but I wouldn’t want to assume.”
Miko thought for a moment and said, “I hear you Kaylin, and honestly I would be fine with you moving in with us. I think it would be fun to have another girl roommate around my age. So if that is what you two want, let’s do it.” Akira broke out in a wide grin and the girls followed suite. They finshed their talk, and by the end, Kaylin was officially living there.
Once she was all moved in, Kaylin was able to upgrade her work station into a more robust streaming and video setup to continue working on live streaming and videos on the side while still working in the media career. And her and Akira’s relationship was growing even more every day.
